Women's Energy Network - North Texas

This October, some of the women of Platinum had the privilege to attend the Women’s Energy Network of North Texas 12th Annual Leadership Conference in Dallas.

Our team was able to network with other energy professionals and had a day full of education and empowerment to also include free professional headshots.

Some of the keynote speakers included Rich Dealy, President & COO with Pioneer Natural Resources, Denise Cox, President of Storm Energy, Jen Hartwig, Director of Development with Riley Ridge and Claudia Morrow, SVP of Corporate Development & Strategy at Vistra Corp.

The keynote speakers covered multiple topics including:

• The State of the Energy Industry and its impact on producers.

• Energy in transition and update on global energy.

• The business case of carbon capture utilization and storage.

• The five key risks in battery storage development, different battery technologies and how battery storage is being deployed across different competitive markets in the United States.
